Trading involves substantial risk of loss

Automation does not remove risk

Automated software follows its rules whether a trade wins or loses. Every strategy has losing trades and losing streaks. Software can also be affected by internet or power outages, VPS or computer problems, broker issues, slippage, spreads, gaps and fast markets. Risk controls such as daily loss limits reduce but do not eliminate losses, and may not trigger exactly as set in every market condition.
